The NCCER Registry System will not allow a user currently associated as the Secondary Administrator or Secondary Representative to submit an association request for the Primary Administrator or Sponsor Representative roles, respectively.


This information is primarily applicable when following the step-by-step instructions on how to submit an association request to change the Sponsor Representative and/or Primary Administrator roles (referenced below) in the Registry System. The most common indication of this issue is when you have reached the step to select the role from the Request Association screen and the intended role does not appear in the drop-down list.


If you find yourself in this situation and unable to request the Primary Administrator and/or Sponsor Representative roles, then you will need to first remove your Secondary Representative or Secondary Administrator role association. If you or your outgoing Sponsor Representative or Primary Administrator are unable to remove your secondary role association, then you will need to contact the NCCER Customer Support team toll-free at 888-622-3720 for assistance.
