NCCER's Testing System does not require an Instructor of Record in order for an individual (Test Taker) to receive credit in the NCCER Registry for successfully passing a (written) module test.

However, if an NCCER certified instructor was involved in the training of that individual (Test Taker), then the testing organization would need to ensure that the instructor is listed as the Instructor of Record from within the NCCER Testing System in order for the Registry to grant certification maintenance credit to the instructor.
