Based on certification, users can be granted different levels of access (responsibilities) within the Arkiv system.  Users can be assigned multiple roles/responsibilities, based on their certification and what functions they will need to administer within the Arkiv system.



Administrator - this responsibility is assigned by NCCER, and only given to the Primary Administrator.  Any user with this responsibility is able to perform the following functions:


  • Setup user accounts
  • Reset user passwords
  • Place Orders
  • Approve Orders
  • Conduct monthly inventory verification (only required if assessment center has paper-based inventory)
  • Pre-assign assessments
  • Reset assessment exam keys
  • Pull candidate score reports and training prescriptions
  • Check status of candidate question comments
  • Create Custom Pipeline tests


Coordinator - this responsibility is assigned by the Primary or Secondary Administrator and should only be given to individual's with a current NCCER Coordinator certification.  Any user with this responsibility is able to perform the following functions:


  • Place Orders
  • Pre-assign assessments
  • Reset assessment exam keys
  • Pull candidate score reports and training prescriptions
  • Create Custom Pipeline tests


Proctor - this responsibility is assigned by the Primary or Secondary Administrator and should only be given to individual's with a current NCCER Assessment Proctor certification.  Any user with this responsibility is able to perform the following functions:


  • Pull candidate score reports and training prescriptions


Give Tests - this responsibility is assigned by the Primary or Secondary Administrator and should only be given to individual's with a current NCCER Administrator, Coordinator or Assessment Proctor certification.  Any user with this responsibility is able to perform the following functions:


  • Access the proctor console in order to administer (launch) journey-level assessments
