A Cut Score is defined as the minimum passing score on an NCCER journey-level assessment as prescribed through the test development process. A score higher than or equal to the cut score will provide the participant with a passing result. A score lower than the cut score will provide a "Training Recommended" result.  


Cut scores vary by craft.  An Accredited Assessment Center or assessment candidate can locate the Cut Score for their desired assessment by reviewing the Assessment Specification Sheet.
