Certified Plus Terminology Changing

Beginning January 13, 2020, the name of the NCCER credential "Certified Plus" will change to "Certified." This change only affects the terminology. The written assessment and performance verification required to obtain this credential and the value of the credential have not changed.

To become Certified, the highest credential offered by NCCER, craft professionals successfully pass both the written assessment (Knowledge Verified) and performance (Performance Verified) components of NCCER’s National Craft Assessment and Certification Program (NCACP).

Knowledge Verified + Performance Verified = Certified
